These applications were initially designed for Military Spec Ops (Tier One Units) and SWAT operators. But these applications can be used for Home & Self- Protection.

 This fast-paced course will cover paper, steel, man-on-man, high-speed drills, and shooting on the move. After this course, you will receive a personalized drill program made specifically for you to improve your training after the course.  The course focuses on increasing speed, accuracy, and consistency in high-performance shooting.  This course will take you to the next level.  This course is typically reserved for law enforcement and military personnel.

TACTICAL PISTOL III (2 DAYS)

To begin with a general review of Tactical Pistol I & II.  Everything covered in this course will be done with strong and support hands.  Subjects covered will include reloads, shooting on the move, moving targets, awkward shooting positions from cover, shooting from vehicles, tactical reloads, slicing pie, target order of engagement, and flashlight techniques.  Includes personalized critique and a custom-tailored training program.

2-Day Advanced Tactical Carbine and Pistol

Course

This course is for the experienced shooter who has completed the Skull Drag Basic introductory carbine and pistol course and has aspirations to learn a variety of tactical applications utilizing both firearms. The course will consist of a quick review of instructions on firearm safety, firearm operation, and the proper handling techniques needed for tactical shooting.

The remaining 13 hours will involve an assortment of increasingly challenging drills and events. After completion of the tactical carbine and pistol course, the student will have an in-depth understanding of firearms safety and marksmanship fundamentals and how to tactically maneuver and engage multiple targets from a variety of firing positions with the semi-automatic pistol and carbine.

Course Objective: The student will demonstrate a high level of tactical proficiency and accuracy with the semi-automatic pistol and AR-15 type carbine.

The course includes 16 hours of instruction.

Enabling Objectives:

General firearms safety

Safe loading, unloading, and proper clearing procedures

Sights, zeroing, slings, holster, equipment setup

The must-haves of rifle and pistol marksmanship

Reloading & malfunction drills

Shooting positions

Multiple shots/multiple target Drills

Shooting on the move

Shooting from barricades & covered positions

Efficient follow-on training program

Ammo requirements (Student Furnished): 300 rounds of pistol ammunition, 500 rounds of rifle ammunition. 

Prerequisite (one of the following):

Successful completion of Skull Drag Tactical Basic Course. Former/ Current SWAT Member, DOD with proven light weapons training. DOE, DOS (WPS) Certified, Air Marshal Certified.

Successful completion of both Skull Drag Tactical Courses or Equivalent Pistol and Carbine must-have courses 

Training schedule: Show time is 8:30 a.m. daily, with instruction starting at 9:00 a.m. and ending at 4:00 p.m. A one-hour period is allotted for lunch 

Individual equipment (Student Furnished):

Pistol with 4 magazines /Carbine with 5 magazines

Belt with holster and magazine pouches/vest or kit

Magazine holder for the carbine/rifle.

Knee and Elbow pads (optional)

Weapon cleaning kit (with Oil for guns.)

Rain gear

Eye and Ear protection

Food and water (hour lunch.)

Hat/Gloves (rifles will get hot.)

Sunscreen

Optical Sight for rifle (Optional, but highly recommended.)

The course includes 14 hours of instruction.

CONCEALED CARRY TACTICS

The 2 Day Concealed Carry Tactics course presents the skills necessary to safely carry and employ handguns from the concealed position. The Concealed Carry Tactics course is a Tactics and Techniques course. You will be trained on various concealment techniques appropriate for your firearm. You will also be taught safe and effective concealed carry employment techniques from the concealed carry. Tactical instruction for Employment techniques in practical positions and situations will be covered. During this course you will learn the same techniques taught to Special Operations operators, which have been proven and validated in real world operations.

CQB Fundamentals

The CQB Fundamentals Course is designed to teach the fundamentals of room entry. You will be introduced to the same building block skills taught to Tier 1 Operators during CQB training. Emphasis will be placed on the basic fundamentals and a firm understanding of tactics in order to build a solid base for more advanced training. Due to time and safety constraints, this is generally a rifle only course. You will leave this course with a solid understanding of the principles of CQB and the individual tasks when clearing rooms. This course established the fundamentals level to progress on to advanced CQB, Home Defense, Active Shooter and more.

The Close Quarters Marksmanship course is a 2-day event focusing on using and applying fundamentals and tactics in a close-range environment, designed to teach shooters skills necessary to succeed in Close Range Marksmanship and CQB. Skills will be presented on a flat range to allow shooters to focus on the individual tasks in a building block methodology. This is the same methodology Tier 1 Special Operations Units employ when training Operators before they are taught to enter rooms.

Attendees must be able to perform primary weapons operations, demonstrate safe weapons handling, and correct malfunctions without significant error and assistance.

Door Threshold Movement and Techniques

The Door Threshold Movement and Techniques course is a continuing 1-day training event, focusing on the principles and techniques of the entry phase of CQB. Students will be exposed to how to leverage angles, body position and mechanics in order to efficiently open a door with a focus on being able to engage immediately and take shots sooner. Students will be exposed to the nuances of threshold techniques, fundamentals of footwork and body positioning at a level of extreme detail.

Students will receive extremely detailed feedback and instruction at an individual level.

This 1 Day course is differentiated between students, where each student will be able to progress at their own rate and onto more difficult door and threat arrangements, independently of the rest of the class. Students may continue to attend this 1 Day class and pick up where they left off and continue to progress.

This is an entry-level course that will focus on Safety and Fundamentals. This course may be attended with Rifle and/or Pistol, however Rifle is recommended.

The techniques presented will be appropriate to set the foundation for weapons manipulation in a tactical or combat environment. All techniques taught throughout the tactical pistol course are the same techniques currently in use and validated in real world operations by the US's premier counter-terrorism and special operations unit, 1st SFOD-D (Delta Force).

I am committed to ensuring that each attendee receive adequate personal feedback and attention, as a result this course has a hard limit of 12 students- without exception.

Small Units Tactics Course (Team Level)

The Small Unit Tactics Course is designed to teach the fundamentals of Team and Squad level tactics. You will be introduced to the same building block skills taught to Operators during training. Emphasis will be placed on the basic fundamentals and a firm understanding of tactics in order to build a solid base for more advanced training. The Tactics and Techniques taught in this course are the same tactics used and validated by conventional and Special Operations Units in Real World Operations and is taught by combat veterans with combat experience in them.
